Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Thai Express Belleville.
Job Summary:The Shift Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 35 to 40 hours per week
The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The successful candidate must be physically demanding and able to work under pressure.
