Position Overview:

The Pro/Tool Rental Operations Supervisor typically works a varied schedule, which may include both daytime and evening shifts throughout the week. In addition to being knowledgeable about and capable of executing the majority of other store roles, a Department Supervisor is expected to undertake the following responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
We seek individuals who can embody our core values by: Onboarding and training new team members, assigning tasks and responsibilitiesFacilitating the training of team members on all relevant policies and proceduresCoaching and mentoring team members to enhance their customer service capabilities within their designated areaLeading by example to foster a positive work environment and excellent customer serviceBuilding rapport with Pro customers; dedicating time at the service desk and in the aisles for outreachEducating and updating store associates about the Pro initiative to promote comprehensive store engagementGaining expertise in product knowledge (PK) areas; conducting PK training sessionsReviewing and reconciling reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; conducting informational meetings for team members and/or customersEffectively managing the overall operations and inventory of the departmentAiming to achieve targets – sales, quotes, credit accountsCollaborating with the team to present sales pitches to potential customers outside the store, as directed by managementFocusing on developing personalized relationships with PRO and tool rental customers to anticipate trends, drive sales, and address customer needsRequired Experience/Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will possess: Fulfillment of minimum tenure and performance management criteriaFlexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekendsStrong communication and customer service skillsComprehensive understanding of all policies, procedures, and responsibilities related to customer serviceExceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities
