Job Summary

B.S.S. Excavating Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck and performing various tasks related to the transportation and delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Perform brake adjustments and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement required.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A) required.
  • Experience with heavy equipment operation an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
