Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at YNT Hakka. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- Keep records of the quantities of food used.
- Portion and wrap foods.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
- Take customers' orders.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
