Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Application Scientist to join our growing team and provide support for bioinformatic analysis with our PEAKS software products. The ideal candidate will be involved in software development by testing and benchmarking PEAKS software products using diverse LC-MS/MS datasets.
The successful candidate will possess a strong bioinformatics background, with expertise in coding languages such as R, Python, or Java. Experience with software platforms used for analyzing LC-MS/MS proteomic data and NGS data analysis is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement bioinformatic analysis pipelines for PEAKS software products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software development and testing
- Provide exceptional customer support and resolve complex issues
Requirements:
- PhD or MSc in Bioinformatics/Biochemistry/Biology/Biophysics or a related field
- Strong bioinformatics background with coding experience
- Experience with software platforms used for analyzing LC-MS/MS proteomic data
- Experience in NGS data analysis and tools for bridging proteomics and genomics
