Position Overview

Join our team at PeopleCare Communities Inc. as a Personal Support Worker specializing in nursing care. This permanent role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Health Monitoring: Regularly check and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Mobility Assistance: Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting, turning, and transporting.
  • Meal Support: Serve meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms and common areas.
  • Emergency Response: Provide first aid and respond to emergencies as required.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program in a relevant field.
  • Certifications: Hold certifications such as Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), First Aid, CPR, Nursing Aide, and Health Care Aide.
  • Background Checks: Successful completion of a criminal record check and other safety screenings.
Work Environment
