We are in search of a skilled Full Stack Intermediate Software Developer to contribute to our projects. In this role, you will engage in platform initiatives that are vital to Paidiem's objectives, with the flexibility to transition between projects as our dynamic business adapts to customer requirements. Your involvement will encompass product development, solution architecture, and the overall design process of the Paidiem system.
Your expertise in Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS, Express, PostgreSQL, and responsive web design will be essential. Ideally, you possess experience in developing Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. We seek developers who are adaptable, exhibit leadership qualities, and are eager to tackle new challenges across the full stack as we advance our goals. Our developers are expected to collaborate effectively, support the team, build and deliver software products, and share their expertise to help us create solutions that delight our customers and users.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Collaboration and Support:
Provide insights, estimates, and analyses to assist team members in scoping, defining requirements, and developing product features.
Work with fellow developers to establish and uphold coding standards and guidelines.
Support existing infrastructure while designing and developing new technologies to ensure ongoing delivery.
Product Development and Delivery:
Create solutions that align with visual designs and specified interactions, minimizing rework.
Utilize coding best practices to enhance or maintain the quality of applications and their dependencies.
Conduct comprehensive testing to identify and resolve issues, preventing rework and performance challenges.
Develop and deploy efficient code following company-approved practices and processes.
Ensure application security across all layers, including frontend, backend, networking, and infrastructure.
Knowledge Sharing and Development:
Stay curious by exploring new methods to fulfill our roadmap through research of tools, technologies, and solutions that enhance platform resilience, security, scalability, and efficiency.
Participate in industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
Conduct code reviews and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.
Success Metrics:
Performance in this role will be evaluated based on:
- Quality of deliverables, including efficiency and bug-free code
- Completion of sprint deliverables and meeting commitments
- Accurate estimation of work in relation to effort and complexity
- Effective teamwork, including peer code reviews, sprint planning, and pair programming
- Ability to expand knowledge and apply new learnings in work
A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software design and development, focusing on SaaS web applications.
Expertise in Full Stack Web Development with Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Express is required.
Experience in a tech startup, SaaS, or financial services sector is advantageous.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
Experience with continuous delivery pipelines using GitLab, AWS, and microservice architecture.
A collaborative team player, familiar with SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
Technical support experience for resolving incidents and outages is beneficial.
