Join Our Team as an Asset Protection Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Representative to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As an Asset Protection Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detect and prevent theft and fraud within our retail locations
  • Collaborate with other Asset Protection Representatives to investigate provincial or national ORC cases
  • Work closely with local law enforcement to ensure a safe and secure environment for our customers and colleagues
  • Conduct internal investigations and compile evidence for court or arbitration purposes
  • Identify and mitigate potential shrink opportunities within our operational core compliance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and colleagues to promote Asset Protection awareness and best practices
  • Participate in conducting store-level audits and community events
  • Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, to ensure 24/7 coverage

Requirements:

  • Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
  • Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and Powers of Arrest
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • High degree of initiative and integrity required to succeed in a dynamic environment
