About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at Goodall Transolution Services Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including truck-trailer systems.
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and repair or replace mechanical units or components as needed.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
  • Work Conditions: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
