Position Overview: The Lead Tax Strategy Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting and analyzing the global transfer pricing function within the Allergan Corporate Tax division.
This role involves extensive engagement in compliance, documentation, financial reporting, modeling, and the comprehensive management of Allergan's transfer pricing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct profitability assessments for legal entities to ensure that transfer pricing practices adhere to an arm's length standard while actively contributing to the optimization of Allergan's global tax strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of contemporaneous documentation to comply with local transfer pricing regulations, which includes data collection, coordination with service providers, and reviewing draft reports.
- Maintain essential documentation for transfer pricing calculations in line with tax regulations, ensuring a complete audit trail is available for potential audits.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance processes related to transfer pricing initiatives.
- Support the tax department in executing business integration projects associated with transfer pricing.
- Research transfer pricing matters and keep abreast of evolving case law and legislation, assessing their implications for the organization.
- Monitor transfer pricing risks, particularly concerning new product introductions or modifications to Allergan's global supply chain.
- Act as a liaison with business unit personnel to ensure adherence to Allergan's global transfer pricing methodologies and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax, particularly within a global tax environment, with a preference for experience in transfer pricing.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work autonomously, implement projects, and meet reporting deadlines.
Experience with third-party transfer pricing software and/or Dataiku is advantageous.
