We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Director of Operations to lead our Rooms Division, Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams at a prestigious 5-star hotel property in Nova Scotia.
About the Role- Provide daily leadership, management, training, and direction to all departments to drive revenue and control costs while exceeding guest expectations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to strengthen the team and improve the customer experience.
- Recruit, develop, supervise, inspire, and evaluate staff to ensure top performance.
- Protect the property and its assets through preventive maintenance and employee and guest safety.
- 3-5 years of experience managing a similar 5-star hotel or resort operation.
- Passion for working in a leading 5-star property with a strong background in 5-star room operations.
- Hands-on management style with excellent communication, interpersonal, and budgetary skills.
- Ability to work well with a team and have a proven track record of strong managerial and computer skills.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Business.
