Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the machinery operates efficiently and the industry remains robust.

The work schedule for this position follows a 14x14 rotation.

The compensation for this role is $58.05 per hour, which includes the base wage and possible premiums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assemblies, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on heavy machinery.
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools to identify faults and determine necessary repairs.
  • Recommending repairs and suggesting enhancements.
  • Reading and interpreting technical manuals and work orders.
  • Completing job-specific documentation as needed.
  • Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Exhibiting motivation to work in demanding environments with minimal oversight.
  • Being ready to work in challenging weather conditions and manage physically intensive tasks.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification. Additional qualifications include an Interprovincial Red Seal, a strong commitment to safety, experience in heavy machinery maintenance, effective communication skills, potential travel obligations, familiarity with Komatsu equipment, and a valid Class 5 driver's license.

Candidates must fulfill specific customer worksite access requirements, which may include a pre-employment medical examination, drug and alcohol screening, employment verification, and a driver's abstract.
