Key Responsibilities
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.

  • Operate lighter, specialized trucks for various transport needs.
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently.

  • Drive straight or articulated trucks to move goods and materials.
  • Inspect vehicle conditions, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Handle financial transactions related to goods.
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Execute preventive maintenance on vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch regarding logistics.
  • Document cargo details, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping.
Qualifications
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (for semi-trailer trucks)
Work Environment
  • Job involves extensive time on the road.
  • Must be able to handle heavy loads and manage a large workload.
  • Overtime may be required, and the role is physically demanding with repetitive tasks.
