Capital Markets Operations Specialist

Join The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) as a Capital Markets Operations Specialist and contribute to the success of our Global Operations and Business Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily funding requirement platform and internal funding relationships with various funding desks.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Daily Funding Requirement platform and internal funding relationships with various funding desks
- Support the Front Office Funding desk in providing intraday daily cash positions and monitoring aggregate internal funding requirements
- Manage, analyze, and direct USD dollar payments flow for main trading Nostro using various applications such as Intraday Liquidity Tool (IDL) and Liquidity Control Manager (LCM)
- Perform settlement and confirmation functions for various US Money Market products, including Commercial Paper, Certificate of Deposit, and Time Deposit
- Investigate and resolve cash breaks for Money Market products
- Contribute to a continuous improvement culture across Global Operations by identifying opportunities for process improvements and developing business requirements
- Manage change and deal with ambiguity effectively in a rapidly changing environment
- Identify, understand, and manage risk appropriately
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or other discipline
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with programming languages is considered an asset
- 5 years of progressive Capital Market experience at a financial institution
