Location: Hybrid
Job Responsibilities:
- Front End Planning (FEP): As a vital member of the project team, you will coordinate and drive the Front-End Planning processes. This includes initiating risk profiling, developing project breakdown structures, and reviewing project scopes and estimates. You will also facilitate scoping and risk workshops, gather labor estimates, and develop integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Project Monitoring & Control: Your role will involve maintaining an updated conceptual phase schedule, loading approved plans into project control systems, and performing weekly updates and analyses. You will also facilitate project metrics reporting and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with project management plans.
- Change Management: You will ensure adherence to approved change control processes, prepare necessary documentation, and update project schedules following change approvals. Additionally, you will maintain project baseline integrity and document all changes accurately.
- Schedule Quality Assurance: Your responsibilities will include maintaining the project schedule to reflect the current plan, ensuring accurate updates, and monitoring critical paths and dependencies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will interface with stakeholders to ensure project plans are accurately maintained and updated, coordinating with various resource providers for cost and schedule commitments.
- Project Closeout: You will facilitate the financial closeout process of projects, ensuring all project controls and systems are finalized.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Strong understanding of engineering and science relevant to project planning and scheduling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in business and computer applications.
- A four-year degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Proficiency in Primavera scheduling software (P6) and project control principles.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant scheduling experience.
- Experience in project management within a Nuclear generating facility.
- Familiarity with engineering and construction management concepts.
- Experience with various computerized systems and databases.
