Job Title: IT Systems Administrator

At AlgaeCal, we're seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems, including Google Admin, Slack, and Atlassian Suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Google Admin accounts, settings, and security features to ensure a secure and efficient environment.
  • Configure and maintain Slack settings, user permissions, and channel management to optimize team communication and collaboration.
  • Set up and manage Atlassian Suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  • Perform compliance audits and ensure adherence to security frameworks, such as PCI, SOC-2, and HIPAA.
  • Manage hardware and software inventories, coordinate renewals and resales, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT management, with a focus on Google Admin, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
  • 1-2 years of experience with compliance frameworks, including PCI, SOC-2, and HIPAA.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or Atlassian Suite is a plus.
