Job Description

Azad Technology Partners is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team as a Cloud Migration Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing application migration activities to modern cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cloud Migration Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive migration plans to ensure seamless transition of applications to cloud infrastructure.
  2. Status Updates: Provide regular status updates to senior leadership on migration progress and any challenges encountered.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with Operations team to define, practice, and execute migration plans, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  4. Communication: Coordinate with developers and R&D leadership to minimize the impact of migration activities on the development team.
  5. Cloud Infrastructure Upgrade: Upgrade VueJS single-page micro-frontend applications to support local development during migration activities.
  6. NodeJS Microservices Upgrade: Upgrade NodeJS microservices to deploy into modern AWS Lambda runtimes.
  7. IoT Device Migration: Migrate medical IoT devices to cloud infrastructure.
  8. CloudFormation Template Migration: Work with infrastructure engineers to migrate legacy CloudFormation templates to Python (CDK).
  9. Opportunity Identification: Identify and document opportunities for improvement as applications are migrated.
  10. Automated Testing: Develop scripts to automatically test the operability of an application after migration and the accuracy of database migration activities.
  11. Agile Methodology: Estimate and track work in a way consistent with the Agile methodology.
Requirements:
  1. Master's Degree: Master's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 10 Years of Experience: 10 years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  3. OAuth 2.0 Experience: Experience working with OAuth 2.0 (Okta experience preferred).
  4. IoT Device Experience: Experience working with IoT Devices (IoT Management in a Public Cloud Provider preferred).
  5. mTLS Experience: Experience working with mTLS.
  6. Regulated Products Experience: Must have experience working on regulated products.
  7. Public Cloud Experience: Must have experience hosting applications on public cloud providers.
  8. Change Control Understanding: Strong understanding of Change Control concepts.
  9. Configuration Management Understanding: Strong understanding of Configuration Management concepts.
  10. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  11. Agile Team Experience: Must have a history of working on productive Agile development teams.
  12. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion.
  13. Application Debugging Experience: Strong application debugging experience.
  14. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  15. Software Development Lifecycle Understanding: Demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  16. CI/CD Knowledge: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  17. Technology Acumen: Demonstrated ability to quickly achieve a working acumen of new technologies.
