About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Shyam Drywall Ltd. as a Construction Assistant. This is a permanent position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks related to construction and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as concrete and asphalt, from vehicles and equipment.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Structures: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Spreading Materials: Assist in mixing and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery used in construction.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of locations, including construction sites, and will be exposed to noisy and dusty environments. The physical demands of this role are high, and the candidate must be able to lift up to 20 lbs (9 kg) and work for extended periods of time.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
