Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our US Corporate Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing U.S. corporate federal and state tax returns, researching tax issues, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare U.S. corporate federal and state tax returns
  • Research and analyze U.S. tax issues
  • Prepare file memoranda and client correspondence
  • Proactively resolve tax-related issues with clients and staff through direct contact and research
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for additional tax services
  • Provide exceptional client service and support

Requirements

  • Accounting diploma or certificate; accounting designation is considered an asset
  • 2-3 years of experience in public practice, preferably in personal tax compliance
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounting and U.S. tax compliance
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to adapt to new technology tools
