Job Title: Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Onex Construction.

Job Summary:

The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, recruiting and hiring workers, training, estimating costs and materials, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and quality of work
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have necessary skills
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on site
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar industry
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 32 to 40 hours per week
