Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated DevOps Lead to oversee our international operations team, focusing on our fully cloud-based voice and messaging platforms. This role is pivotal in shaping the cloud infrastructure that supports our services.
The ideal candidate will take charge of developing, designing, deploying, and maintaining our core applications and voice technology stack within AWS. Our engineering and operations teams prioritize configuration management, ensuring high availability, monitoring performance metrics, disaster recovery strategies, and scalability enhancements. Candidates should possess substantial experience in architecting enterprise solutions in AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive innovation and implement advanced technologies with creative problem-solving.
- Offer operational support to engineering teams to enhance productivity.
- Maintain open lines of communication with team members to foster transparency.
- Document and disseminate processes and procedures effectively.
- Engage in on-call support rotation as required.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in managing enterprise production environments within AWS.
- Strong commitment to Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) practices.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux server management, AWS services, and operational workflows.
- Expertise in observability tools, including Cloudwatch and Grafana.
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of networking principles and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
- Experience with containerization and AWS Lambda services.
- Proficient in database management, including MySQL and MS SQL Server.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $175,000 CAD, commensurate with experience.
