Heavy-Duty Vehicle Mechanic

Manpower Services Canada Limited is in search of a qualified Heavy-Duty Vehicle Mechanic to enhance our team. This role is a permanent opportunity that includes comprehensive health benefits such as dental, disability, healthcare, paramedical services coverage, and vision care.

Position Overview:
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 to 48 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities:
  • Modify, repair, and replace components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults and issues
  • Repair or substitute mechanical units or components as necessary
  • Provide estimates for parts and labor costs associated with vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Mentor and guide apprentices in their development
  • Deliver exceptional customer service

Required Certifications:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement
