Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AV Installation Specialist to lead large commercial AV installation projects for Paladin Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and servicing cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices, including pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications/drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor team members to ensure successful project execution
  • Install and service cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices, including pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications/drawings
  • Install audio/visual equipment, including audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, public announcement systems, and all presentation systems
  • Interact with customers and prospects to ensure all inquiries are handled professionally
  • Ensure that safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
  • Complete detailed and accurate paperwork

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices
  • 1-3 years' experience installing AV systems preferred, but experience from an electrical, mechanical, and/or construction environment will be considered
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Certification with Crestron, QSC, CTS, Extron, and BiAmp would be considered an asset
  • Post-secondary education in electronics, electrical, telecommunications, or equivalent would be an asset
  • Valid Driver's License with clean abstract
  • Must be able to pass a background check
