Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to create high-quality, made-to-measure garments tailored to specific customer and manufacturing requirements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the field and demonstrate a strong commitment to craftsmanship.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

The role is primarily based in a furniture upholstery and repair shop, where you will be working with various materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct custom garments according to detailed specifications.
  • Utilize sewing machines or perform hand sewing as needed.
Materials Handled
  • Polyester and synthetic fabrics.
  • Textiles, leather, and velvet materials.
Experience Required

Prior experience in fabrication and a specialization in fabrics/upholstery is essential.

Physical and Personal Attributes
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and color differentiation skills.
  • Personal qualities such as flexibility, initiative, organization, teamwork, and a hardworking nature are highly valued.
