About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Development Specialist to join our team at GS Global Security. As a key member of our digital solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and integrating website-related code, determining hardware and software requirements, and developing website architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Integration: Design and integrate website-related code to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Hardware and Software Requirements: Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance and ensure data security.
  • Website Architecture: Develop website architecture to meet business needs and ensure scalability.
  • Code Development: Write, modify, and test website-related code to ensure quality and security.
  • Content Creation: Create and optimize content for the website using various graphics, databases, animation, and other software.
  • Security and Risk Assessment: Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies and procedures to minimize their effects.
  • Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate various interactive media software products to ensure they meet business needs.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure the website meets business requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in web development.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
