Position Overview

Graduates of the Business Development Program have successfully transitioned into diverse roles within EMCO Corporation, such as senior account management, technical sales, procurement, and operational leadership.

Phase 1: Warehouse Operations
Understand our product offerings, learn efficient warehousing techniques for plumbing supplies, and grasp the logistics from suppliers to clients. This phase includes familiarization with delivery routes and stock management.

Phase 2: Retail Consultant
Engage in customer service, counter sales, showroom interactions, order processing, inventory oversight, pricing strategies, credit management, and financial analysis.

Phase 3: Project Management Consultant (B2B)
Transition from addressing customer inquiries to overseeing extensive project initiatives.

Phase 4: Account Management
Discover new business prospects, promote our products, negotiate agreements, and cultivate relationships with clients and suppliers. Drive traffic to our showroom and establish exceptional partnerships with designers, builders, and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Degree from a college or university
  • At least 2 years of experience in a dynamic customer service or sales environment
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Capability to learn and utilize the software systems for order processing
  • Experience in a fast-paced work setting
  • Intermediate mathematical skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment
  • Demonstrated work ethic and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
