The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with the Rack's comprehensive 6-factor Ultimate Yield program, focusing on enhancing crop production through innovative management strategies. This position demands analytical skills and the ability to apply research findings to optimize crop yield and quality while aligning with the objectives of our agricultural partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate Ultimate Yield Management Institute (UYMI) sessions with clients to boost UYMI sales and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborate across various aspects of farming operations, delivering critical insights to assist growers in their management choices.
  • Perform Field Production Appraisals and generate tailored recommendations for clients.
  • Oversee customer soil and tissue testing processes.
  • Conduct regular field scouting to monitor crop health, pest presence, and weed control.
  • Advise on the application of suitable fertilizers and chemicals, including for precision agriculture clients.
  • Plan and conduct customer engagement events such as field tours and agronomic workshops.
  • Work closely with the Ultimate Yield Research Team to align on best practices.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Master's of Science in Agriculture is required.
  • Active membership in SIA is preferred.
  • Specialization in soil science or plant science is advantageous.

  • Experience in project management.
  • Proven sales capabilities.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on grower relations.
