Job Summary:

The Refrigeration B Operator is a key member of the Arctic Glacier Inc. team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the operation of building systems, including heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air-conditioning.
  • Monitor and operate industrial freon refrigeration systems.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors, including fire departments and inspectors.
  • Perform regular facility inspections and maintain accurate logbook records.
  • Complete daily refrigeration system readings and maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Respond to emergency situations to ensure employee and facility safety.
  • Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible work environment.

Requirements:

  • Refrigeration Operator 'B' Certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Comfortable working with power tools and possessing a valid Driver's License.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
