Position Overview:

We are seeking a committed individual for the role of Class 1 Truck Driver at our Nisku, AB Branch.

This position entails operating semi-trucks equipped with flat-deck trailers to transport diverse loads within the Edmonton region. We are looking for a qualified driver with flat-deck experience who appreciates a stable career close to home.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safe operational procedures
  • Operate cranes and forklifts as required
  • Package materials according to customer specifications
  • Load and unload freight
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections
  • Follow safety regulations
  • Perform maintenance on trucks and trailers
  • Secure cargo for transport
  • Drive the vehicle safely
  • Maintain accurate transportation records

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Valid Class 1 license with Air endorsement
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent education
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Capability for some heavy lifting
  • Strong mathematical and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven

Compensation:

Hourly rate is $32.68.
