Rail Load-Out Specialist

At Viterra, we're committed to connecting local farmers with global markets. As a Rail Load-Out Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our Ste. Agathe canola processing facility, ensuring the safe and efficient loading of railcars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate shuttle wagons, loaders, and other equipment to load product into railcars
  • Maintain accurate logs for food safety audits and generate reports as required
  • Perform routine maintenance on railcars and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve daily production targets and maintain a safe working environment
  • Monitor and adjust conveyor systems, bins, and legs to optimize loading/unloading efficiency

What We're Looking For:

  • A hands-on individual with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality
  • One to two years of experience in a railyard or similar environment is an asset
