Key Responsibilities
  • Data entry of shipments in our software system.
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure the smooth conduct of operations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal team members to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Mediate with carriers to resolve any logistical issues.
  • Prepare and provide daily tracing reports as required.
  • Provide timely status updates and document service performance and equipment tracking.
  • Proactively communicate issues to the team.
  • Confidently problem-solve issues such as missed pick-ups, late deliveries, damaged freight, or incorrect billing.
  • Verify accurate AP/AR rates in loads and manage exceptions with this process.
  • Execute other logistics-related tasks as assigned by the direct Manager.
Requirements
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar position, ideally in a 3PL environment in OTR or intermodal operations.
  • Understanding of the intermodal market.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office, PC Miller, and TMW.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Advanced data entry skills.
  • Ability to follow standard operation procedures with little to no oversight.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
