Position Summary:

The Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst plays a crucial role in the effective management of accounts receivable, ensuring timely cash flow, credit oversight, and the efficient collection of outstanding customer debts. This position is integral to maintaining robust cash collection controls and collaborates closely with customer service and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts receivable open items to guarantee prompt payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Engage daily with the Customer Development Organization and management to address any payment issues, ensuring all necessary actions are taken to recover overdue accounts receivable.
  • Examine supporting documentation for accounts receivable to confirm compliance with legal standards.
  • Conduct quarterly reconciliations of outstanding balances with customers to swiftly resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare journal entries and accompanying documentation for month-end closing to meet corporate reporting standards.
  • Lead or participate in return on investment analyses.
  • Manage the Customer Gross to Net Process to ensure adherence to corporate reporting requirements.
  • Support and engage in monthly meetings regarding Gross to Net and Accounts Receivable with the leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a multinational fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) organization or a Big Four accounting firm.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools and SAP.
