Residential and Facility Maintenance Cleaner
The shíshálh Nation is seeking a dedicated Residential and Facility Maintenance Cleaner to ensure that our program facilities are kept in pristine condition. This position involves providing cleaning services for participating families as well.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular cleaning of program facilities, including thorough cleaning of kitchens, restrooms, communal areas, and more.
- Manage waste disposal, including garbage, recycling, and organic waste.
- Ensure that facilities are secured and locked when not in use.
- Maintain a constant supply of handwashing materials.
- Report any accidents or damages to program staff and families promptly.
- Perform sanitary cleaning tasks such as bathroom sanitation, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing kitchen fixtures.
- Assist families with organization and decluttering, with their consent.
- Engage in meetings and participate in both internal and external groups.
- Carry out additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in cleaning.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- Proven experience in residential cleaning.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and techniques.
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing schedules.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Must complete required training and pass a Criminal Record Check.
