About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Nikon Canada Inc. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operational logistics.
  • Coordinate Activities: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Manage Work Orders: Track and complete work orders, and maintain work records and logs.
  • Provide Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, and communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations.
  • Process and Transmit Information: Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and maintain progress and other reports, and compile inventory reports.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and under pressure.
