Job Title: Tractor Trailer Driver Long Haul

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team at AYR Motor Express Inc. As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel cross-border
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
  • Willing to travel internationally
  • Willing to travel overnight
Work Environment:

As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be working on the road, driving long distances and spending extended periods away from home. You will be required to work in various locations, including different provinces and territories.
