We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at CMHC - SCHL as an Associate, Financial Planning and Analysis. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the synthesis and delivery of financial guidance to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining meaningful relationships to gain a deep understanding of their business and environment.
- Financial Analysis: Provide guidance on developing and executing forecasting processes, preparing financial and impact analysis, and financial modeling to deliver insights and commentary.
- Process Improvement: Identify non-value added processes and improvement opportunities related to costing, risk management, oversight, analysis, managing reporting, funding, budgeting, controls, and financial model inputs and outputs.
- Strategic Support: Support the development and championing of financial implications of business strategies and policies by identifying emerging issues, trends, and opportunities.
- Financial Reporting: Contribute to the development, implementation, standardization, analysis, and monitoring of financial performance indicators, measures, and targets.
- Education: An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or commerce.
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in finance, business analysis, and strategy support.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in both English and French, and demonstrated experience in various software applications and planning tools.
