Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety protocols, standards, and regulations
- Actively participate in scheduled safety and maintenance meetings
- Maintain professional and service-oriented interactions with all personnel
- Execute maintenance tasks while ensuring a clean work environment
- Engage in work-related training and development opportunities
- Review maintenance requirements with supervisors following inspections
- Complete electronic work orders efficiently
- Conduct necessary repairs identified during inspections
- Diagnose issues and communicate required parts to the lead-hand or parts coordinator
- Perform annual motor vehicle inspections as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed journeyperson truck and/or trailer mechanic
- Experience as a B620 inspector is a valuable asset
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Proficient computer skills
- High level of professionalism
- Additional assets may include knowledge of engine diagnostics
- Experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, and welding is advantageous
