SAP Functional Architect

Nutrien is a leading provider of agricultural products, services, and solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Architect to join our team in the Forecast to Produce area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and designing SAP solutions to meet specific business requirements and ensuring integrity of design through to implementation. They will work closely with business stakeholders to collaborate on SAP solutions required to meet business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 8 or more years of practical experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery, with a strong understanding of SAP applications/modules such as S/4HANA, ECC, PP, PM, EAM, QM, and MRP. They will also have excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Architecting and designing SAP solutions to meet specific business requirements
  • Working with business stakeholders to collaborate on SAP solutions required to meet business objectives
  • Determining optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, operational perspectives
  • Defining functional requirements and capturing them in configuration rationale and functional specification documents
  • Validating proposed development estimates
  • Overseeing development to ensure it meets business requirements
  • Defining and/or executing test plans and reviewing outcomes to validate solution meets intent and is appropriate in response to business demand for change
