Hotel Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Best Western Fernie Plus Mountain Lodge. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
- Room Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and cash reports, and perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
