Digital Literacy Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Literacy Trainer to join our team at YWCA Metro Vancouver. As a Digital Literacy Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering digital literacy workshops and one-to-one support to program participants and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach specialized small group class sessions on digital literacy to program participants and staff, including use of hardware and software (classroom and web-based learning).
- Provide individual training support in areas where students struggle.
- Manage a multi-level online learning environment combined with in-person training and coordination of a loaner laptop library for use by program participants.
- Provide one-to-one training virtually, over the phone or in person.
- Design and prepare curricula and training course outlines, and develop instructional methods, instructional videos, training aids, manuals, and other materials.
- Valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required.
- Proficient in Office 365 Applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms such as Relias, or similar for delivering and tracking e-learning courses.
- Extended medical and dental benefits.
