About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 1217653 BC Ltd. as a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Utilize manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and reconcile accounts.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare trial balance of books and provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with management and other stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
