We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Porter to join our healthcare team at HMP Pentonville, a category B male and young offenders prison in London. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services, providing high-quality support to patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional portering services, including escorting visitors and contractors, and maintaining a clean and tidy healthcare area.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare colleagues, and other professionals, both in person and over the phone.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, such as answering calls, scanning, and delivering post.
- Monitor and order stock, ensuring that equipment is up-to-date and within budget.
