ZET ACCOUNTING SERVICES INC. is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience in calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and preparing other statistical, financial and accounting reports. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently. The position requires a permanent employee with a flexible schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
* Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
* Post journal entries
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
* Prepare tax returns
* Prepare trial balance of books
* Reconcile accounts

**Requirements:**

* College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
* Permanent employment
* English as the language of work
* 35 to 40 hours per week
