Position Overview

As a Branch Operations Leader, you will be accountable for the overall performance of the branch, focusing on achieving financial targets linked to the profitable growth and retention of both personal and business portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate a passion for leading and nurturing a team that will enhance and cultivate existing and new customer relationships through expert financial guidance.
  • Support the development of strong customer relationships by providing coaching, training, and hands-on observation.
  • Guide your team towards success, both individually and collectively for the Branch/Bank.
  • Oversee and mitigate the Bank's exposure to risk.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the Bank's policies, practices, special initiatives, and procedures.
Required Skills
Do you possess the skills necessary for success in this position? We would be excited to collaborate with you if you have:
  • Experience in a managerial role with a proven ability to engage and motivate your team.
  • Background in both personal and small business banking.
  • Robust sales management experience with the capability to promote Scotiabank's offerings.
  • A talent for building strong relationships that prioritize exceptional client experiences and expanding connections with existing customers.
  • A valid license to sell mutual funds.
  • Completion of the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or a recognized equivalent).
  • Fulfilled the educational requirements to take on the role of Branch Compliance Officer.
