As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist at KNAAR RESTAURANTS CORP, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our culinary environment. This is a permanent position that requires dedication and attention to detail.
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience
- Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other items to dining areas and set tables accordingly.
- Manage and replace linens as needed.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize equipment such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs after use.
- Load and unload buspans and trays efficiently.
- Operate dishwashing machines to ensure cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
- Hand wash and sanitize dishes and other kitchen items as required.
- Scrub and clean pots and pans to maintain kitchen standards.
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning products safely.
- Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in appropriate storage areas.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and trash properly.
- Maintain kitchen knives by sharpening as necessary.
- Perform floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
- Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting as needed.
