Are you prepared to leverage your technical expertise to enhance the success of Pinchin Ltd.?

This role is a contract position with potential for extension.

As the preferred candidate, you will be responsible for executing projects within the Emissions, Reduction and Compliance (ERC) Group. This includes conducting fieldwork as necessary, gathering and analyzing data, calculating emissions, and preparing comprehensive reports.

The ERC team depends on Technical Staff to ensure high levels of utilization and efficiency.

Technical Staff serve as ambassadors for Pinchin, engaging with clients to gather information and communicate requirements, challenges, or outcomes.

Reporting to a Team Leader, the Environmental Compliance Project Specialist will assist clients in adhering to environmental regulations by quantifying emissions related to air, water, odour, noise, and dust, preparing necessary annual reports, and securing compliance approvals for equipment operation in various jurisdictions.

A Day in the Life of an Environmental Compliance Project Specialist at Pinchin

Your role will involve supporting Project Managers, Project Engineers, Team Leads, and the Operations Manager to deliver outstanding technical solutions and services to ERC's clientele.

The Environmental Compliance Project Specialist plays a crucial role in achieving departmental profitability and efficiency goals:

• Conduct on-site field activities safely and effectively.
• Manage data and calculations with precision and produce high-quality reports.
• Maintain technical skills and certifications.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to deadlines and complete project scopes.
• Stay within project budgets for assigned tasks.
• Ensure accurate time sheet entries in accordance with corporate policies.

Preferred qualifications include a College Diploma or a Science or Engineering Degree.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in an industrial or consulting environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to sit for extended periods and operate necessary office equipment.
• Willingness to work outside of standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Overtime may be necessary to meet project deadlines during peak periods.
