Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Accuracy: Ensure that prescription information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of prescriptions, client information, and inventory.
  • Medication Preparation: Prepare medications for clients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and answering phone calls.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of medications, supplies, and equipment.
  • Supply Ordering: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked pharmacy.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers and newcomers/refugees.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Will train.
