**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and hygiene-related duties as outlined in individualized personal service plans.
* Respond to scheduled and unscheduled requests from residents for assistance.
* Participate in social and recreational programs, including group activities, outings, and special events.
* Perform housekeeping, laundry, and dietary duties as required.
* Assist with dining room preparation and meal service, as well as tray service to resident rooms.
* Interact with residents, guests, and staff in a courteous and respectful manner.
* Complete required documentation.
* Act as a positive and constructive team player, creating exceptional customer experiences.
* Follow security and infection control policies and procedures.
**Requirements:**
* Must be physically capable of performing all required tasks as outlined in the job description.
* As per OH&S (medical history/or requirements).
* Ensure that Golden Life Management policies and procedures are practiced.
* Must be accountable for all actions taken while employed by Golden Life Management.
* Based on individual; cooperation, attitude, resident focus, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and application of the Social Model Care will impact a person's candidacy.
* Able to read and write English.
* Must have First Aid.
* Has taken Food Safe or other required courses.
* Must have ability to be self-motivated for this position.
* Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check.
* Negative TB Skin Test; and,
* Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations or approved exemption for an accommodation based on a reason related to human rights.
