Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at House of Knives. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices, and selecting and purchasing merchandise for resale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality and quantity standards.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, such as buying, merchandising, or supply chain management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions about purchasing and inventory management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
