About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at Mavara Indian Bistro Inc. as a key member of our food and beverage services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings.
  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, and provide recommendations on menu selections.
  • Advise on wine selection and describe wine options to customers.
  • Greet patrons and present menus, making recommendations and answering questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience is an asset.
  • Excellent oral communication skills are essential.
  • Client focus and a team player attitude are necessary.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
